How to apply Orangeboard® cladding primer for best results

To get the best outcome, apply the Orangeboard® Primer before painting or applying the final texture coat.

When to apply

• Wait at least three days after rendering.
• Allow about one day per millimetre of render thickness.
• Always prime before painting or texturing.

Getting the surface ready

• Ensure the surface is dry and free of dust, grease or loose material.
• Mask off any areas that shouldn’t be coated.

How to apply

• Mix thoroughly before use.
• Apply one even coat with a medium nap roller.
• Allow to dry fully (touch dry in under 30 minutes, topcoat-ready in 1 hour).

Apply the acrylic wall primer only when the air temperature is between 10°C and 30°C. Avoid full sun, rain and windy conditions. Protect the surface for at least 24 hours after application.
